Sean Scully is an Irish American painter, print maker, photographer and sculptor. His first American solo museum exhibition was held at the Museum of Art, Carnegie Institute in 1985.

Summer is in full-swing here at the library! We have a number of great programs coming up, so be sure to scroll down to see everything we have planned.

We are really excited about everything we have planned for this month! This year's summer reading theme is "Adventure Begins At Your Library." You're invited to explore new programs, new places, and maybe revisit some of your favorites…

This summer we're trying something new with our offered book clubs. Join us for a Trope-ical Book Club. We'll be focusing on romance books: books with a guaranteed "happy ever after," or at least a "happy for now." The book club won't start until June, but we'd like some help planning. If you think you might be interested, take a moment to fill out the interest form.

Be ready to go for the summer with a quick drawstring bag project.

We're excited and hopeful for the April 8 solar eclipse! As I write this, the long-range forecast is calling for mostly sunny, so I hope we'll have clear enough skies to really experience this special event!
